Sam Gish

Sam Gish has been with GBS since 2018. Prior to his role as a Benefits Consultant, Sam played a key role as a Population Health Analyst. With his knowledge and expertise in Population Health, the transition to consultant brought with it an emphasis in financial services, healthcare services, market analysis, and data management. Sam partners with executives and HR professionals to help maintain the homeostatic balance between expense and employee experience.
Sam Grew up all over the U.S. and after meeting his wonderful wife finally set his roots in Arizona. Before coming to AZ Sam had lived in Taiwan for 2 years where we learned Mandarin Chinese and developed many lasting friendships. Upon returning to the U.S. Sam resumed his studies in Statistics & Actuarial Science. He Received his B.S. from BYU in Statistics and is currently a Master’s Degree candidate at Harvard University seeking a degree in Data Science. Sam’s focus in these areas make him an unparalleled asset when analyzing employee benefits, financial analysis, risk management, or general problem-solving.
As a client of Sam’s, you can expect him to work relentlessly on your behalf – driving innovation, problem solving, and pushing industry standards. When not consulting Sam is often playing guitar with his children or enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.
